BEFORE YOUR START RIDING
1. Security hold is taken- This can be held for up to 7 days. *Can be split into 2 cards with the person on the property. |
2. Waivers are signed- ALL RIDERS/DRIVERS MUST BE PRESENT. |
3. Safety video is watched – This is required. |
4. Before pictures are taken of your machine. Any prior damages (IF ANY) are documented. We recommend going through the machine yourself as well to avoid any confusion or concerns when returned. – RIDERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES. |
5. Pick out your safety gear. Helmets are required in all motor vehicles, and life jackets are required in kayaks + water rentals. |
6. We go through the machine with you one more time, and answer any questions or concerns. We teach you how to use ride command and go over all laws, ordinances, and rules one more time. |
7. You’re free to ride! |
WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR RIDE
1. You will unload all of your things. |
2. Machine is looked over and inspected. After photos are taken at this time. PLEASE NOTE: After photos are taken when the machine is still dirty. The hold is not released until AFTER a deep wash and thorough inspection. |
3. Machine is taken for a test ride. |
4. You’re free to go home. You will receive one courtesy email if any damages are found. Please be sure to add an email that you use to ensure you receive all before and after photos of the machine. |
5. Machine is deep cleaned and inspected again. If you had any issues during your ride PLEASE address them ON YOUR RIDE or before you leave. Any damages not discussed will still be charged. Please refer to the waiver. |
We recommend staying for inspection so you are aware of (IF ANY) damages. This is not required but highly suggested. If not; you will skip steps 2-5. You will receive one courtesy email if any damages are found including a price sheet, parts sheets/numbers, labor charge, and photos of damages.
Snowmobile Rules + More
These are to be followed at ALL TIMES or will result in the partial or FULL loss of deposit.

On the trails, if you pass other machines you will hold up however many fingers of however many riders are behind you to indicate whether or not it is safe to continue on the trail.
Example: Holding up the #1 means there is 1 other rider behind you. #2 means two more riders. The last rider of the group will hold a closed fist up for other riders to know that is the end of your group. DRIVER ONLY uses these signals.
Turning right is a 90-degree angle of your left arm and a left turn is an extended left arm. Don’t worry! We will explain when you arrive.

- Helmet rentals available – sizes limited. (Small children and XXXL heads suggested to bring their own.) A DOT approved, full-faced snowmobile helmet is required. No bicycle, snowboarding or motorcycle helmets allowed.
- GPS – Riders required to have some sort of trail GPS app downloaded to their phones, mobile Garmins or maps. We recommend downloading POLARIS RIDE COMMAND. We do not have GPS systems on the units.

- Unless you are injured you MUST STAY with your vehicle until the vehicle is rescues by staff or third party towing. Leaving your machine will result in the full loss of hold unless discussed with outfitter.
- GAS CANS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON OUR MACHINES. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC LOSS OF SECURITY HOLD.
- RZR RIPN’ RENTALS is NOT responsible for any medical bills, injuries, rescues on unauthorized trails, or damages done to any equipment used (trailers, gear, machines, etc.) during the rental time.

Snowmobiling is snow dependent, meaning outfitter will refund for days if there is not enough snow only, outfitter decides for the St. Helen area only. If renting a trailer or delivery RENTER is responsible for trail conditions if not rideable. PLEASE BE PROACTIVE AND WATCH THE WEATHER. WE DO NOT REFUND.

- $1,000 security hold will be held upon arrival on a CREDIT CARD ONLY. The $1,000 will be released upon inspection of the machine with no damage (Inspection time is up to 24 hours.).
- Renters are 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES during the ride and will be charged for all parts, labor, and possible loss of use (if applicable) Riders are responsible FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES past the security hold.
- Riders are also responsible for third party towing bill if needed.
- Riders must stay with their machine (unless injured) until it has been recovered by staff or third party towing. Leaving machine could result in loss of deposit.
- RZR RIPN’ RENTALS is NOT responsible for any medical bills, injuries, rescues on unauthorized trails, or damages done to any equipment used (trailers, gear, machines, etc.) during the rental time.
- Arrive 30-45 minutes early and understand that ride time starts exactly at the time customers choose. Time does not get extended if late to pick up. A late fee of $50 after 30 minutes , $100 after 1 hour, and after 2 hours is considered a full day rental rate. All riders or drivers must be present at check out regardless of delivery or trailer pick up.
- If do not come fully prepared to check out you are liable to lose my ride time and fees. Outfitter decides if my gear is appropriate for riding.

PROPER SIDE BY SIDE TRAIL ETIQUETTE + RULES
- Ride only on designated and signed ORV trails, routes, and areas. – We do not rescue on 4 wheeler trails. Check out POLARIS RIDE COMMAND to view the surrounding trails in St. Helen!
- Remember that designated trails are open to other users. Be courteous to other riders, horses and hikers on the trail. – Full sized vehicles, quads, dirt bikes, sand rails & more all share the trails.
- If you meet bikers, horses, and hikers coming from the opposite direction, slow down, pull over, and yield the right-of-way.
- Trails are located on STATE LAND. RZR RIPN’ RENTALS is NOT an ORV park. Please do your research before riding.
- Always yield to uphill traffic. Uphill traffic may have difficulty starting again if it stops.
- Slow down when someone is passing you.
- If you stop to talk to others on the trail, be polite and remove your helmet. A helmet masks your features and can be intimidating.
- Be safe and considerate when you stop along the trail. Never stop side-by-side, in the middle of the trail, at the crest of a hill, or around a corner on the trail. Also, never block an intersection. Remember to shut off your engine.
- Leave gates as you find them, stay off private property.
- Report downed trees and trail maintenance needs to land managers.
- Carry out what you carry in. – We often give discounts for trail trash!

If you return to the property WITHOUT helmets on it will result in an automatic partial loss of hold. HELMETS AND SEATBELTS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS.

- OUR #1 Rule: NO burnouts or donuts. This could result in a loss of security hold. Tire tread is checked before leaving and upon returning.
- You do NOT need a motorcycle endorsement – Autocycle means an enclosed motorcycle that is equipped with safety belts, rollbar, steering wheel, and equipment otherwise required on a motorcycle, and which has not more than 3 wheels in contact with the roadway at any one time.
- Drivers must be over the age of 21 to rent and ride.
- All renters and drivers must have a valid driver’s license. While this machine is considered an “autocycle,” you still must follow all laws on the road.
- ALL renters must be present at pick up. No exceptions.
- Helmets are required at all times.
- Renter and AUTHORIZED riders are the only ones to drive vehicle.
- Seat belts be worn at all times while operating this vehicle.
- THESE MACHINES ARE NOT TRAIL PERMITTED AT ALL. This could result in loss of hold.

Kayak Rules, Policies + More
KAYAKS ARE CUSTOMER PICK-UP & DROP-OFF ONLY.
- One Person Kayak - Open Faced
- Must be 18+ to rent - Minors must go with adult.
- Weight Limit = 350 LBS

- Must be 18 years or older to rent, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (Any age can participate)
- No double floating allowed.
- Life Jackets must be worn at all times.
- Renter shall bear all risk of damage or loss of personal property, including but not limited to damage or theft, and shall pay the cost of repair or replacement of equipment.
- All participants must read and sign a Release of Liability form. Minors (under 18) must
have a parent or legal guardian read and sign. EVERYONE MUST BE PRESENT AT PICK UP. - No drinking and floating.
